Why Prepare with a Private Course?

A language school class has one big weakness: too many students with very different levels. In a private preparation course, everything revolves around you — and that is why students pass faster.

  • A course built around you, not around a class of 15 people with mixed levels.
  • Your weak points are identified first and fixed before exam day.
  • Realistic mock exams with strict timing, so exam day holds no surprises.
  • A native, certified teacher with 19 years of experience and a linguistics degree from LMU Munich.
  • Flexible scheduling and location — in Munich-Laim or online.

  1. Free level assessment — we talk, I test your level, and we set your target exam and date.
  2. Personal study plan — you get a plan that targets your weak points and the exact exam format.
  3. Focused lessons — grammar, vocabulary, and exam techniques, one-to-one.
  4. Mock exam simulation — you train under real exam conditions, with time limits and evaluation.
  5. Exam day — you walk in confident, with feedback and strategies from every practice run.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which German exams do you prepare for?

I prepare students for the Goethe-Zertifikat (A1–C2), TestDaF, telc, and DSH. If you are unsure which exam you need, I help you choose based on your goal — work, citizenship, or university admission.

What level do I need to start the preparation course?

All levels, from complete beginner (A1) to advanced (C2). For TestDaF and DSH we usually start at B1 or B2.

How much does the course cost?

A 45-minute individual lesson costs €44; couple lessons cost €30 per person. Discounts are available on larger lesson packages, for example 5% on a package of 20 lessons.

Is there a free trial lesson?

Yes — the first 45-minute lesson is free and includes a level assessment and a personalised study plan. There is no obligation to continue.

Can I prepare for my German exam online?

Yes, lessons are available in Munich-Laim or online via video call, one-to-one or in small groups.

Do you organise the exam itself?

No — exams are taken at official test centres. I prepare you for the exam and, for TestDaF, I can put you in touch with a licensed school I collaborate with.

How many lessons will I need?

It depends on your starting level, your target level, and your exam date. After the free assessment you get a realistic estimate — many students prepare for a B1 or B2 exam in 8 to 16 lessons.
